Abstract

Pedagogical innovation in entrepreneurial education in higher education has become a priority at Brazilian universities seeking to prepare students for an increasingly innovative and dynamic job market. However, little is known about studies addressing new teaching practices in entrepreneurial education that are created and implemented within universities. Therefore, this research aims to build an integrated overview of the academic literature on pedagogical innovations in entrepreneurial education in higher education. This research is guided by a systematic literature review that served to assimilate, synthesize, and describe the results of various studies. The research was conducted using CAPES's journal database, including academic productions published between 2001 and 2023. The search was conducted only on articles in English and Portuguese. The results demonstrate that pedagogical innovations play a vital role in advancing entrepreneurship education (EE) and teacher training, supporting the reformulation of undergraduate curricula, and guiding universities in improving their entrepreneurship teaching methodologies.
